How do I schedule an event in my channel?

  1. Login to your account at video.ibm.com

  2. From the menu on the left side, click Channel. If the correct channel is already selected proceed below. If it's not then click on the name of the channel to bring up the option to create a new one or search through your existing channels to choose a different one.

  3. Now click Events

    This will open the Events tab for the channel you have selected.
  4. To schedule an new event, click on the button labeled Schedule a New Event in the upper right corner.

  5. Fill out the required information describing your new event. Although the maximum event length shown is 4 hours, this does not mean your stream needs to stop after this time. You simply cannot make a schedule that lasts longer- this will not affect the actual length of your stream.

  6. When you are finished creating the event, remember to click Save at the bottom of the page.

    After clicking Save, you will be returned to the Events tab in your dashboard. You should now see the newly created event, displaying time and date.

    Note that you can always tweak the event after creation. This is done by clicking the wrench icon. It will allow you to change details like the name, description and event date of the event.
